PC gamer gift recommendation needed please!

I want to buy dsil 23 an unexpected gift for Christmas. The past few years he gave me a suggestion, and I went with it. This year he doesn't have any ideas, so dd gave me a few!! LOL She has a full list of ideas for him, so it was easy for her to share haha

I want to buy him 2 gifts. 

1. Gaming headphones. He has the Razer Kraken ones now and is not happy with them, but I don't know what about them is irritating and can't ask without giving up the surprise. 

2. PC speakers. He got a new desk top computer for gaming this year and wants speakers for it. I assume most PCs have standard PC speaker inputs?!!?!? 

Between the two gifts, I would like to stay under $300.  I always have wiggle room, so if going over by $50 nets amazing gifts, I am all for it. 🤣If one gift would be $250, then I could find another second gift that it cheaper to make it stay in my buget. I usually give him an XBox gift card for what ever money I have left out of my budget and he is always happy to get that, so it is still a win!

my adult gamer sons are very into Steel Series Arctis headphones. (most can be found on Amazon for less.)  They put their money into headsets - they don't use speakers with their computers.

 

 Good news is - PC speakers are cheaper than blutooth speakers (which I have to do because i have a laptop - I want to listen to music and not have to wear headphones.)

both sites have Logitech G560 PC Gaming Speaker System as their favorite.

 

how many monitors does he have?     does he have a monitor stand?

what kind of mouse does he have? (there are mice for gamers - wtih lots of buttons . . . . .

I have this headset https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hyperx-cloud-ii-pro-wired-gaming-headset-red/4505300.p?skuId=4505300 I like it a lot. I prefer wired headsets for sound quality and you don’t need to worry about charging. 
 

I have speakers for my pc as well. Nothing great just something I got at Best Buy. I only use my headset when gaming with others and chatting over discord. I use my speakers otherwise.

There are a lot of varieties of Razer Kraken headphones so if you knew which one he had it might help with what to look for or avoid in a different set. I would suggest a headphone stand with whatever headphone you go with. Speaker quality and how much space he had for the speakers would be what to look for.  Most gaming headphones have built in mics but some like a separate mic.  My other suggestion would be to get a vertical gaming mouse it’s easier on the wrist. Best Buy has been having lots of sales on all these items.
