I would not have  made  it through the pandemic without the friendship and companionship of everyone hear.  I never knew how important this place was that I joined so many years ago.  I am so lucky to have found it.  You all mean so much to me.  Thank you.  Ok now I am crying!

Much love and gratitude to everyone here. You've changed me more than you know. You know many of my faults and quirks and keep on showing me love and support. You are funny and smart and creative and knowledgeable and just plain wonderful.

This place is the best!  Don't know what I would do without everyone here!  ❤️  ❤️  ❤️  I'm always incredibly touched by the support, generosity, kindness, intelligence, thoughtfulness, etc. I experience here and how members spend their precious time helping others who are strangers.  I've also learned so much here - it's just a great community that I'm grateful to be part of.

I agree wholeheartedly! My life is richer because of my time and experiences here. It is my favorite online social platform, and I appreciate everyone here so much! I can't imagine what the last 13 years would be like had I not joined. Being a part of this group caused me to branch out and try things I might not would have done, things I'm very glad I did.

I think this board pretty much represents everything good about the internet. I'm sure I'd be a completely different (and not for the better) person if I hadn't found TWTM and all of you. ETA: And that's also true for my boys. They're grown now, but their homeschooling experience was definitely better than it would have been w/o the advice and resources I found here.

When people say or post those snide comments about "has anyone ever actually changed their mind because of a post on social media" I think of this board.  I've changed my mind on lots of things, big and small, because of the Hive! Having such diverse, well-articulated opinions has meant the world to me!

Also, it's been a safe place for me to hang out on some tough days -- days I wanted to scroll social media as a distraction, but not run into people getting hateful about all manner of things.

I agree with all of the above. This is definitely the smartest place on the internet - the collective wisdom, kindness, and compassion of the Hive has made me a better person. Being here has expanded my worldview, changed my mind, opened my mind, and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you present and past participants.

This 100x. In real life I don't know people with a lot of diverse opinions, and I am HORRIFIED by disagreements, but on here I can read along and see all sorts of different sides to controversial topics, generally discussed in well-reasoned exchanges (more or less). Plus all the other good stuff!

I too love the collective wisdom, education, advice, and kindness I’ve found here. I’ve definitely had my opinions and worldview challenged and changed at times. I’m grateful for this place!

I definitely have more of a love/hate relationship with these boards than many of you, but that's on me and my general attitude of ambivalence. 

When it's good, it's good. There is always someone with an interesting perspective or kind word. I've particularly appreciated the long running  Covid thread. I felt fully informed by following along. Some v smart women on these boards.
