Bizarre drama (an update of sorts)!

Hey all, 

Anyone remember my complaints about my local ex-friend who had been spreading conspiracy theories and who dumped me over calling her on it, despite me trying to patch things up and inviting her to the math class I was running (no thanks, we don't do online stuff!) and a Zoom play date with DD9, telling them DD9 missed her kid (no thanks, we don't do Zoom play dates!)? 

Well, apparently she's telling people she doesn't talk to me because I threatened to call CPS on her for going to a closed playground with her kid 😳. No idea WHEN I could have possibly done that, since she stopped talking to me at the beginning of April 2020 and unfriended me on FB back then, too, but hey, why let a timeline and my personality get in the way of a good story?!

But I’m genuinely more amused than upset, because it’s SO ridiculous. Like, if this is what she says about me, is everything she says about other people a bizarre lie?? Why this lie? What does this even mean??

I'm sorry.  Being misrepresented or mistaken for something other than who you truly are can be really unsettling.  When something like that happens to me or my loved ones that has no rational explanation, I figure the person must have some really troubling stuff going on in their lives or their minds.

I am seriously curious to hear her answer.

it stinks when someone is spreading lies about your character, but, eventually people will clue in to her off-tilted views on others.

Oh, gosh, I'm so not going to talk to her about it. I don't need the hassle. I plan to thoroughly avoid her.

At least it makes me feel very determined to never talk to her ever again 😛 . I mean, if we come across each other, I'm sure I'll, like, nod. But I can't imagine trying to reach out again.
