My husband is trying to argue with a tantrum-ing 3 year old

Mine yells at the dog to stop barking, which the dogs interprets as "Yay, everyone is barking with me! Let's bark more!" Which makes DH yell, which makes the dog bark, and round and round we go.

I finally went down and got him (the child), and brought him up here and laid next to him and sang 2 songs and he was kicking and screaming for a few min and then was out like a light.

Poor kid gets so exhausted and fights sleep and gets cranky.....like we all do when exhausted.
