Good morning! Lovely day here! Fasting, so keeping an eye on my blood sugar numbers. I didn’t eat dinner, but also did not take medication last night. Slightly higher number than usual this morning.

Ds to school.

Coffee

Tutor two students.

Make some progress on logging sessions.

Figure out piano for Ds today. Dd is zooming.

Prep tonight’s lesson for my 5th graders at church.

Find out when insurance adjuster is coming to look at my car.

Howdie, happy Wednesday!

Even though I got a lot of client stuff done on Monday and Tuesday, I still have some things hanging over my head, so I am hoping to get and stay on a roll again.  My stress level will go way down (I think) when certain things get done.

It's a gorgeous autumn day here.  So blessed to be able to enjoy it a bit.

Done:

  • Took out the garbage, mixing in a bit of housework.
  • Kids to school on time, yay!  They only have 1 tardy so far this quarter.  I know that's nothing to brag about, but it's a lot better than last quarter!  Also, my OCD kid made it to the car at 7:30, which we've been trying to accomplish all year.  Here's hoping it's not the last time.
  • Listened to some more Fahrenheit 451 on the drive home.
  • Walked the pup and did other pup stuff.
  • Caught up on emails, calendar, news, social media, and electronic school stuff.
  • Got started on client work.
  • Working on coffee 2.

To do:

  • Lots more client work.
  • Call for a health appointment or two.
  • Do my "yoga etc." exercises and maybe practice my TKD forms.
  • Get the laundry caught up.
  • Kid2 to horse riding.
  • Get Kid1 to get some exercise & play with the pup.
  • Charge & play with the leaf blower I bought.
  • Make the kids do their homework, housework, pup duty.  (Actually they have been good about homework lately - I should probably stop saying I "make" them do it.  I see some real maturing happening this year, yay!)
  • Whatever else gets done.

It has been a nice day here, but my classes have kept me inside.

I finished a load of laundry and put it away.

Had all my classes with one student staying in longer to go over some questions.

Texted the artist about the watercolor painting. We'll finalize things about it next week because her dd is getting married this weekend.

Dh came home before his practice, and I made him a grilled cheese and tomato soup. He already has leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Not sure what I'm going to eat. I had my leftovers for lunch.

New fridge and dishwasher are coming Friday. Some perishables are moved to a neighbor’s extra fridge.

Ds punted piano and is being generally a pain.

I am catching a few quiet moments at church before people begin arriving and dinner starts.

Came face to face with a deer while on my walk... didn't know what to do, so I just crossed over and kinda walked backwards away from it. It was dark, but I think I saw antlers...needless to say, when I got home I googled and I did the right thing if it was a buck.

Made a huge chicken casserole that everyone loved. Everyone is in bed. I'm bored lol.

Sorry about your fridge @ScoutTN, glad you're able to get a replacement!

Thanks!

I am glad we had the funds to get a replacement. And that the freezer is still cold, our perishables are either frozen, in coolers with ice, or in a neighbor’s extra fridge.

We have had several hand-me down or CL fridges and I have not actually bought a new one since 1997.

I left the shopping entirely to Dh, which makes me a little nervous😬😉😱but it’s too late now. New appliances are a HUGE splurge for us, like this is the only time in 20 years of marriage.

@ScoutTN, I'm glad you were able to save your food and that you found appliances available!

I went to church and to Walmart.

I'm working on dh's phone right now. We ordered a new one and need to activate it after I back up the old one.
