Good morning! I couldn’t find a thread so here goes.

We’re on the road headed home. When we get there we both have work to do for school tomorrow.

I’ll need to get a meal plan and grocery list made. Shopping tomorrow maybe.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!
@TravelingChris, I’ve been missing you and hope all is well.
@TexasProud, praying for you and your family and missing you, too.

Good morning! I slept way late and am feeling better. Wondering if the flu vax Friday was what made me feel so off yesterday? I don’t think I am sick. Kids and I are staying home from church bc they have colds.

Today is Dh’s birthday and I’m not ready, so I need to get some dinner items and a card, and wrap gifts.

It’s a breezy, bright day and I hope to take a walk.

Happy Sunday!!!

Didn't hear from dd except that she landed.....so after dh finally went to bed, 🙄, and hours later of no response, I got the big brother to step in!! Within three minutes he had her on the phone w/me! I made her do the safety protocols lol, but she understood it had to be done lol.

She sent me a beautiful pic of the view from her room!!

Lots of school due today!

Clean kitchen, take out trash and clean up my husband's mess

Praying for safe travel Amy

Happy Bday to your dh Scout

Ended up with a couple inches of snow staying on the ground so will do indoor work.

Donation pick up truck will be  driving around taking curbside pick ups Thursday so I need to go through "stuff" to start and sort.

Need to sort through all my homeschool books and decide what to sell or donate. Learn how to sell them.

Continue and finish editing at least 1 more video for my Hx group and post on the website

Watch Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings with 2 ds tonight.

@alysee, welcome to the tackle group! That is a lot of cooking. I hope your family appreciates you!

@ScoutTN, happy birthday to your dh!

@history-fan, we still haven’t watched that. I hope you enjoy it! My most recent experience selling books was not good. Last June, I sold a set of books for over $100, and I shipped it media mail to Maine. It has never arrived, and I refunded their money because they had to buy the books elsewhere. The postal system has a lot of issues right now. They did start a request about it, but it must be in a bin somewhere there. Maybe use a better shipping method.

We’re going to stop n the way home and eat at my favorite restaurant!

We are home now too.

We went to a very nice b and b in a small college town about an hour away from Tuscaloosa.  My dentist gave me free tickets to the U of Al footbaol game on Saturday.  We saw the U if A Olympians get honored. We saw a flyover of USAF jets.  We honored the pilots. And it was a great game and I was so happy to see the band performance.  They are going to the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in a few weeks.

Howdie, happy Sunday, a bit late!

It snowed this morning.  The pup found the snow fascinating.

I'm waiting for Tylenol to work its magic on my headache.  I have a lot I still want to accomplish today.

Done:

  • Kid1 to 5K.  Almost thought she wasn't going to get up for it at all.  She was late, but because it wasn't officially timed, she just fell in and got it done.  It was her first 5K in almost 2 years, and she was satisfied with how she did.
  • Went shopping at Lowe's.  Bought a leaf blower, dust buster, light fixture, bathroom vent fan, bins, hammers, and a bunch of stocking stuffers.  Was hoping the cleaning guy would be able to install the replacement light and vent fan, but that did not happen.
  • Bought a cable tie-out at the pet store, since our pup chewed through the cloth version.
  • Withdrew cash for the maids.
  • Did measurements and try-ons for possible Indian wedding clothes.
  • Cleaned for the maids.
  • Kept the pup from eating the maids for 4 hours.
  • Used the new dust buster to remove ladybugs from corners in my kid's bedroom and bathroom.  Very weird how they congregate in certain corners.  Then cleaned the dust buster since it was full of live ladybugs.
  • A little reading.
  • Took the pup for a walk in the snow.
  • Caught up on calendar, news, social media, emails, and electronic school stuff.
  • Paid the maids.
  • Got a call from my sister just as I was heading downstairs to get some Tylenol and dinner.  Call lasted over an hour and I had to hang up.
  • Dinner was gone so I ate a banana and some cashews and took that Tylenol.
  • There were probably other things in there ....

To do:

  • I have a bunch of deadline work due today and tomorrow.
  • All of the laundry.
  • Whatever else gets done.  Probably won't get time with the kids, since Kid1 is diligently working on homework.
