dorothy
My dc all chose to give up their gift $ to make a donation to needy children. They chose all of the gifts of food, water, malaria tents, etc. and think that there will be nothing under the tree. BUT, I have managed to reserve a little bit and have secretely bought stockings to fill with tiny treats, plus one small toy and two new books each. I am not putting anything out - even the tree - until the 24th after they are asleep. When they wake on the 25th, it will all be there. Not a lot, but sweet! (I figure I can get a small tree cheap on the 24th). :001_smile:

Jennifer3141
That's really neat! We donated farm animals through Heifer for the kids. I can't wait to show them the chicken pictures and "their" goat. :) Jen
