Selkie Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 I just got a Fitbit Inspire 2. I charged it and wore it for ten days without charging. Yesterday was day 10 and it was down to 16%, so I charged it, but it probably could have made it another day or two. Quote
dirty ethel rackham Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 (edited) I have a Fitbit Versa 2. I got it because I didn't want another data plan and I needed to be able to keep my phone at my desk and not near patients, but needed to know if there was an emergency. It keeps track of steps, heart rate, steps per hour, sleep (if you wear it to bed ... I don't.) It has the ability to set a goal of steps per hour and gives reminders of how many steps you have left. You can set step goals per week, exercise goals, etc. When I choose to record exercise like walking or biking, it lets me know how fast I am going as well as how far I have travelled (using the phone's gps.) I get text messages, phone calls, calendar reminders, etc on the watch. When I had an android phone, I was able to reply to text messages with some preset replies. This function is not available with my iPhone. You supposedly can load music on there and play that on bluetooth headphones. I haven't figured out how the spotify app works on there since it doesn't have its own data plan (and how that would be better than having bluetooth headphones synced to the phone.) There is a ton more functionality that I don't use (yet.) It syncs with an app on my phone. I can enter my food and drink consumption on this app. The app syncs to my laptop. I haven't tried to sync it directly to my computer. Just a note, it has to be re-sync'd anytime either the phone or the watch gets to low power. Sometimes I forget and wonder why I missed calls. Since it is relying on bluetooth, the range is limited by the bluetooth range. Battery life has been excellent. I get 5-7 days per charge. It is waterproof. Hope this helps. Laura Corin Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 (edited) I just put my Garmin on to charge whenever I take a shower. It charges up in that time. It's a Vivoactive 3 and I'm happy with it. Edited October 24, 2021 by Laura Corin Quote
