Terabith Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 I've tried leaving blank space. I've tried lots of dots. What is the secret to it not sharing the text in the mobile preview when people aren't looking? Quote
Kareni Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 Here is what I have found to work ~ (highlight to read) SPOILER ALERT*****END SPOILER Let me know if the asterisks can be seen in the mobile preview you mentioned. Regards, Kareni 1 1 Quote
Miss Tick Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 No asterisks! Did you just use all caps? SPOILER ALERT Can you see me now? END SPOILER 1 Quote
Corraleno Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 (edited) Type the spoiler with the text color set to WHITE, and then add "Highlight to read spoiler." The white text will be invisible unless you highlight it, when it will be visible on a light blue background Edited October 24, 2021 by Corraleno 3 Quote
Kareni Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 I believe that @Corraleno is correct and that the asterisks are actually in white type. My Kindle Fire does not have different text colors available, so I simply keep the spoiler text in an unsent personal message and copy it when I need it. Regards, Kareni Quote
Terabith Posted October 24, 2021 Author Posted October 24, 2021 Color change seems to be the kicker. Unless other people are seeing things on their devices that I'm not seeing on my spoiler thread. Quote
