Dog Food Recommendations?

My two little Shih-tzu/Bichon mixes have been on Royal Canin breed specific dry dog food for a long time. It’s become hard to get and expensive, so I need other brands that are good. No chicken, I think the puppy’s tummy doesn’t like chicken.

I have no food suggestions (mine eat homecooked or commercial canned), but . .  they're so cute!

I want them. 😉

I use Fromm, but I don’t think it’s much cheaper than what you’re using 😞

We did purina pro plan for a long time and it's great. Now we are using Canidae because they have an all stage that makes life easier.  Either of those brands though I don't know their small breed selections are typically really great.

We use homemade dog food along with Solid Gold.  This works fantastic for our gassy breeds.  Another two I really like is Fromm and Stella and Chewy’ raw blend kibble.

I do Blue Buffalo/Blue Wilderness (wet and kibble) for my cat (grain free is especially important. for cats.) they also make dog food.  Some varieties have no chicken.

My dd's labradoodle breeder uses/rec'd life's abundance.  But it also has chicken.  Not sure what my dd feeds her dogs.  Their tummy's don't like chicken either.  (They can have a tiny bit, but if they have too much they have runny stools.  And they love chicken.  . . )

We feed Purina Pro Plan Sport Salmon and Rice.  They do very well on it as does my daughter's dog.  I have one with a sensitive stomach.
