Help me find a dress please!

I don’t wear dresses often, but I need to purchase a dress for an event in late October. I wear a size 10/12 (more of a 12 these days!) and have a pretty average build.

There is no dress code, but I would say the event will be between causal and formal. So a little dressy, but definitely not a cocktail dress, or anything like that. And I would like to keep it under $100, if possible.

Google "ralph lauren wrap dress" or "anne klein wrap dress." I have one of each and find them flattering, versatile and not expensive. Each brand has several options and price points.

I second the wrap dress, and would like to say that while none of their clothes work for me, Lands end had a very nice wrap dress a couple years ago which I now wear around the house.

I Iike sheath dresses.  They’re comfy and can dress up or down depending on the shoes.

Also suggest wrap or faux wrap style dress. They are very flattering. Amazon usually has quite a few.
