We have Sonos. Decent sound for a house full of audio engineers who are very picky. No cons, really.

ETA: We have a Sonos One, and a Beam. Currently considering another - one that we can take outside, I think it’s called Move? Presently our outdoor speaker is a Bluetooth Bose, which is great, but not a smart speaker.

We have Alexa devices. One is a largish original Amazon Echo. Then I got a couple of Flex devices really cheap before last Christmas. Plus I got a cute Mickey Mouse clock that syncs with Alexa. The clock doesn’t talk but it does light up for different things. They are mostly just a novelty here. I set timers when cooking. I will use it to call people sometimes when I can’t find my phone. I ask it to tell the time or the weather. We already pay for satellite radio for the car, so I use the device to play my favorite satellite radio channels. The original one has what I think is pretty good sound for playing music. The flex has a tiny speaker, but the music is god enough for me when I am cooking or cleaning. I used to do some of the games, but I don’t bother doing that much anymore.
