So, Kareni came up with the winning idea. I contacted the potter in Canada (Alberta) and she is "throwing" (making) a bowl as a baby gift for my niece's baby.

I will post a picture of it when it arrives. Asked for a delivery date by Dec 11 to give to baby as a "1st" Christmas gift. If it's late, no big deal. This woman, Gisele, is busy! She lives in Alberta, Canada so it will take some time for delivery but her work is amazing! So creative!

And, I'm having her make a "custom" mug for my husband with a Bible verse he likes. She will carve out a little heart, at my request, on the thumb rest of the handle.
