Teaching3bears Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Eating lunch. So, they have to take off their masks to eat. Is this a good idea? Isn’t it like a mass gathering? ... every day. Would it not be better to eat in the classroom? 2 Quote
theelfqueen Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 My assumption is that it's a staffing/ supervision issue. 1 Quote

theelfqueen Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 (edited) I mean it sucks/at least isnt ideal ... but teachers do have to pee sometime. I assume they moved to the gym for more spacing than a lunchroom. Edited September 4, 2021 by theelfqueen Quote
Hilltopmom Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Teachers need to eat, pee, & return parent phone calls- last year our students ate in our rooms and we had to supervise them all day without a break…we did it (for free) for the kids, that just wasn’t going to fly for another whole year. It does suck. We could not find people willing to work at schools to cover those times. Quote
