About 200 kids in a gym every day

Eating lunch.  So, they have to take off their masks to eat.  
Is this a good idea?  Isn’t it like a mass gathering? ... every day.

Would it not be better to eat in the classroom?

My assumption is that it's a staffing/ supervision issue.

I mean it sucks/at least isnt ideal ... but teachers do have to pee sometime. I assume they moved to the gym for more spacing than a lunchroom.

Teachers need to eat, pee, & return parent phone calls- last year our students ate in our rooms and we had to supervise them all day without a break…we did it (for free) for the kids, that just wasn’t going to fly for another whole year. It does suck. We could not find people willing to work at schools to cover those times.
