TheAttachedMama
I have a 2nd grade son (turning 8 this September). He has not had any grammar instruction prior to this year. (We used Logic of English Foundations A-C in K-1st.). I know I am going to start him in WWE 1 because I feel like WWE 2 would be too difficult for him. But I am not sure what to do for grammar. Should I use FLL 1 or 2? Another alternative that I am considering is English Lessons through Literature. Thanks in advance!
SilverMoon
You could always get the older, combined levels 1/2 volume for FLL instead. An 8yo could zip through level 1 pretty quickly, but might appreciate the softer start if he hasn't had any. And if it's just way to easy you've got level 2 in hand. purpleowl
I skipped FLL 1 with all of my kids. They did just fine starting with 2.
