Stacey
In the South Beach book it has a recipe using ricotta cheese for several desserts. I can't stand ricotta! What could I use instead?
Rich with Kids
Can you stand cottage cheese? Maybe that will work? You have me curious about this diet now.
Guest
In the South Beach book it has a recipe using ricotta cheese for several desserts. I can't stand ricotta! What could I use instead? He he...that's one of the reasons that didn't work for me...I don't do ricotta, either. (Unless it's in Manacotti or stuffed shells...) When I did S.B., I did a lot of the jell-o and pudding. Sugar-free, of course.
gardening momma
I haven't watched any cooking shows in a long time, but there was one I used to watch with Giada de Laurentiis. She uses mascarpone cheese in desserts. Here's some info about mascarpone: http://www.ochef.com/263.htm
