Good morning!

The plumber came yesterday instead of today, so that's less waiting around today. The internet guy came yesterday and took care of moving it, then we went to Chattanooga. I'm on the new laptop! We looked at furniture but like some I found just down the road better.

  • meals
  • continue organizing bedroom and bathroom
  • move computer and desk into new room with internet
  • work on organizing and unpacking that room
  • errands out (pick up a few things, drop off a return at UPS store, order the furniture)
  • work on school planning for next week
  • relax and watch some stuff

Good morning !  I am on the way to Nashville to get my Prolia shotn. And hoping I don't die.

A while back on this road where the speed limit is 50 and everyone drives 60, a car pulled out into the left lane and was going 20 mph.  I am very thankful there was no one in the right lane and my dh's great driving.

Not sure what we will do after the shot other than have lunch.

@TravelingChris Have a good day in Music City!

Adding to my list, now that I’ve had coffee and can think - mostly driving.

Dd to tutorial

Pick up Ds

Pick up CSA veggies

Pick up Dd after a short meeting for musical theater parents.

Dinner is pork chops, veggies and green salad.

Good morning!

Yesterday was our in-service day, and the giant rug did indeed fit, and leave room for tables still, and the room looks adorable! Tomorrow is Orientation with the parents, Monday classes start.

so, today I have:
...coffee
...breakfast

...update registration records, file forms, sign/deposit checks
...prep/send Orientation email to returning parents who do not have to come to Orientation
...email one mom about a change to her dd's piano time (not me, but talked with the piano teacher, and got that moved for the mom since I moved my lunch; the mom had asked)
...double check my bag for tomorrow, make sure I have everything
...remember to pack all the things I promised the drama teacher
....take pics/list for sale my old rugs (unless there's a reason I shouldn't???) (my ABC rug, my 1-10 individual rug squares)
...check my list, see what's for dinner, take that meat out to thaw
...laundry
....start prepping for 1st Day stuff (Tues: K prep; Thurs: 1st Prep; Fri: 2nd Prep)
....anything I'm forgetting

Happy Tuesday!

DS22 is fully moved into his new apartment (and stuff is gone from our house.) DD17 is fully moved to the dorms and starts her new job today.  Books are bought for the new semester! DD19 started her new job yesterday!  CRAZY busy as DD25 also had a baby a few weeks ago so the helping/delivering/driving/texting storm from ALL should lighten shortly, lol, but I do love it!)

*Clean & organize back room so DH can move office UPSTAIRS with us! ❤️
*Teach DD to poly a door
*Have DS clean garage so DD can poly door
*Start wrapping head around reducing the garden and whatever that takes..........

Dh really, really, really needs his skeep apnea appliance replaced.  Just saying

No, he isn't falling asleep like dd2's boyfriend who was and just gott he results of his sleep study and is getting a CPAP machine.  Dh gets mildly depressed and that means irritability. He is two years overdue for a new one.

New plan. DD13 is going to a friend’s at 2. I spent the morning working out details about DS’ car purchase.

We are headed east at 4 to look at said car. Helped DD17 do paperwork for campus job. Sent a bajillion texts and emails for various reasons. Oy.

Clean room

Shower

Garden issues for another day.

Got some important AHG things done.
Wrote down the times I need to be other places so I can organize my afternoon.
Sent a Zoom invite to my student for this evening.

Need to print some things and work on a job application, but I think I'll walk first. That keeps getting squeezed out by the tyranny of the urgent.

Worked on more AHG things instead, though I did get the job stuff printed.
Got a short walk
Ate lunch
Washed the dog blankets for Dd's bed.
Dh volunteered to pick up the boy bc he will be near there anyway. ❤️ Saves me 45 minutes of driving.

I'm not sure if you mean what I think you mean, but if so, I'm glad we're not the only ones with "dog blankets for kid's bed"  ❤️

(or unless you mean "wash dog blankets, because they need to go on DD's bed for her to use", but in my mind this means "wash the dog blankets that live on dd's bed, for the dogs, b/c they are getting gross/funky/smelly/whatever and need a refresh").

Also, I'm glad you got your walk!

Little by little, I'm getting it done.

Took a nap, now getting a snack & fighting (and beating, I think!) a headache, then will do the "make sure my bag is packed" part for tomorrow.

Realized that I took to school already a thing I need to work on, so will take the supplies up there to work on that while I'm in my room waiting on parents to show up.

@TheReader Yes, the blankets that go on top of Dd’s quilt to keep it nice. Dd forgets to wash them and they were gross! I do not let the dog on any other furniture, but my kids don’t mind the shedding machine on their beds.

Ok, I got almost nothing on my morning list done. But I did have productive day. I even had several hours alone in my house this afternoon. Lovely!

Done tutoring.
Next up: tidy the kitchen, then go read.
