FYI…Postage increasing August 29th. First Class letter going up from 55 cents to 58 cents

Another thread reminded me of this.

Postcards are going up, too, by 4 cents. And international letters by 10 cents.

So if you want to save some money, and still mail stuff…maybe get some Forever stamps before August 29th.

Me, too. I bought some from Costco without thinking that I'd be buying a Costco quantity of stamps instead of my normal, single book. I think I may have enough for several Christmases! 

I've found we don't send as many letters as we used to. Bills are paid electronically and we send emails or texts instead of personal letters. My kids don't have envelopes and stamps because they never send anything. I've tried to give them some of each and I get the look from them. They just don't need them. (But they sure enjoy receiving letters and packages!)

Lol @wilrunner. My college girl is always looking for an envelope & a stamp! She'll send out a request at some odd hour of the night to her friends to see if they have one.

Dd#2 just got done with her graduation thank you notes and 80% of those were better off mailed. The local post office only had boring stamps so I ordered fun ones & might gone overboard. I got some Star Wars ones & a few other types...
