Totally unrelated to anything having to do with day of the week or fitness or motivation, but I have had "Strawberry Fields Forever" running through my brain all morning. And so I offer you this to kick off your Friday:

I finished yesterday strong for the first time in a while, getting out for a good, long walk (4.5K) with the dog in the evening and nicely exceeding my minimum steps for the day. 

Therefore, I feel okay about doing a "just enough" 3.7K walk this morning. It's Friday, and I am between academic terms and have nothing on my calendar after work today, so odds are good I'll have time for more walking or some biking or something later.

I also spent about 20 minutes on the floor with weights and resistance bands before coming in to work.

I'm hoping to get out and walk another trail chunk this weekend. However, my husband is sick, and I don't know whether he will be up to driving me. We'll have to see how it goes.
