How crowded are St. Augustine beaches on a weekend? Is it possible to socially distance?

When we lived there we always went to the beach at Anastasia State Park. It’s a small fee per car to get in but it was never as crowded as the other beaches, so would be easy to stay distanced.

Anastasia would be my choice also.

All the public schools around here start next week, so this weekend will be crazy.

My vote is for Anastasia as well. I've never been to just St. Augustine Beach, only Anastasia State Park. It's lovely and if you're lucky you'll see some starfish on the beach.

I would also go as early in the morning as possible.
