Jenny in Florida Posted August 1, 2021 Author Posted August 1, 2021 Good afternoon. I didn't end up doing any trail walking this weekend. Yesterday morning was busy with house/family stuff, and then we stayed out late (for us) hanging out with our son and his girlfriend, after which I just couldn't sleep. And I have a final exam tomorrow for which I haven't adequately studied. So, it seemed like a good idea to push off the next chunk of the trail walking project until next weekend. I did get in a decent walk this morning--4.4K--but then counted today as my day off from strength exercise. At some point, depending on what the weather (which is currently very damp) decides to do, I will either walk some more, ride the stationary bike, do a video or some combination of those things to make up my minimum steps. Hope you are all having a nice first day of the last month of summer. Summer Splash Challenge Update: 293.1 of 500K Daily Walking Streak: 155 Days West Orange Trail: 10.85 of 22 miles 4 Quote
sbgrace Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 My family did trail walking today at a state park. It's always enjoyable, but hard to find large blocks of time when all of us are available these days. I decided to take a break on my strengthening routines for today. 4 Quote
Junie Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 I was (barely) able to walk one mile tonight. I have a really large blister on one of my toes and took all of last week off from exercise. I decided to try tonight, but I think it was too soon. 1 2 Quote

Maybe another couple of days of rest are in order. 2 Quote
