TravelingChris
Hi all, We are paying for almost all of the cruise to Hawaii that we will take with dd1 and dsil. However, they are going to pay 1000 of the total price. They want to pay that over time- probably 100 dollars each time and they want to do it through a system. Is there some way to do that automatically?
Pawz4me
We use Venmo to send money back/forth between us and our adult sons, but I don't know if you can set up automatic payments.

My brother is repaying a loan to my mother this way. Is there something similar? Eta from one bank account to the other. Lecka
I use Zelle to pay for a flute lesson, it is the one our bank uses. It’s very easy. I don’t know if it has automatic payments. The teacher sends me a text each month. The price changes depending on how many Fridays there are.
Lecka
I think maybe let them decide, though, if you are happy to receive a check or an online payment. If you are happy to receive any way — it can be their choice.
alisoncooks
We did something like that through our bank. Paid my dad a monthly amount for something.
Lecka
They can see what their bank does, too, as far as online banking and making automatic payments through the bank’s website.
EKS
My son has a check sent to me automatically from his bank each month. It works very well.

vonfirmath
Early in our marriage when we were paying DH's mom back for a car she helped him buy (his old car totalled out and not worth as much as the new car) We set up an automatic monthly payment from our account to hers so we didn;'t have to think about it, write and post a check, etc.
NewnameC
My adult kids pay me 20 a month via Zelle for cell phones. (We have a really cheap plan, and it doesn’t make sense for them to get a personal plan as they already have work phones.) happi duck
Do they have a checking account? Have them write ten $100 checks dated a month apart. They can trust you not to cash them ahead of time.
