Suggestions welcome.

I got an Amazon Firestick from Prime day and finally activated it this evening.  To activate it, you go to an Amazon website.  I typed that in my browser and thought I was at the right place, but after I “signed in” with my Amazon credentials and then gave my cc info, I realized it wasn’t really Amazon and I signed up for some monthly subscription.  I’ve been on hold with my credit card company for over an hour without talking to a person.

I changed my Amazon password.  Any other ideas?

Can you log into your credit card account online? You might be able to dispute the charge all online. If there is a possibility that you gave your credit card information to a site that's not legitimate, you should be able to put your credit card on hold (freeze it) or cancel it online too.

My Dh takes care of that account, so I don’t have any of the login information.  I’ve been trying to explain to him what happened.  I think he’s changing it now, but he still doesn’t understand.

Somehow, it got our password to the cc account even though I don’t have it saved on my device.  This company sent me my account info to this subscription and it’s the same password to our cc.  I checked my saved passwords and i don’t have it saved.
