klmama Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 I ordered some things on Amazon, and they are to be delivered in a couple hours by Whole Foods. Do they just leave things on the porch, like most delivery people, or do they ring the bell to deliver directly to the customer? Just wanting to determine if someone needs to be home, if a tip is needed, etc. Thanks. Quote
ScoutTN Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Ours have just been left, but did not have perishables. I got a text telling me the delivery had bern made with a photo. Quote
catz Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 They always just leave stuff on my doorstep and I typically get a text when they have delivered. I have tipped in Amazon. I think there is a default tip added usually? Quote
Ailaena Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 (edited) They leave stuff and then usually text/email you. Our cold items are in silvery, insulated bags and they do try to leave them in the shade. the tip should have been listed right above the checkout button and you have 24 hours to change it. The default tip is $5 and then if you spend like $75 it goes up to a $7 tip. Edited July 24, 2021 by Ailaena Quote
klmama Posted July 24, 2021 Author Posted July 24, 2021 Thanks for the info. Yes, there's a tip there. I guess it didn't register. Quote
