Good morning!

I made breakfast and had some decaf.

We are going to see our great nephew play in a little league all star baseball tournament later today.

I need to do some laundry tonight.

We head out tomorrow to do some traveling/exploring in Indiana.

Have fun, Amy!

Scout, I missed the news preceding you needing to go to a memorial service; I'm sorry for your loss!

My day today:

....coffee
....breakfast
....fold laundry
....print the timelines/timeline figures (almost done with figures, need to change paper and do the timelines)
....assemble the timeline folders
....print the sight word books for 1st grade
....print the sight word books for 2nd grade
....see what other printing I'm forgetting and do that
...assemble the sight word books for both
....thaw/cook the pork loin I took out (DH put up the turkey and said no, we will do it next week; apparent miscommunication)
...hope the VBS person emails me back, as the kids now want to volunteer, but I need some questions answered (VBS starts monday....)
....lunch, dinner
....church tonight
....after that, veg out? TV? Board Game?  We found a show on Netflix called Sweet Tooth that we're mostly enjoying (post-pandemic world, babies are born as human/animal hybrids, one such hybrid kid is journeying to find his mom....)
....anything I'm forgetting

Howdie!

Some of my Saturday plans got cancelled, so it wasn't as busy as expected.

Done:

  • Kid2 to horse riding.
  • Walked the pup.
  • Kid2 back home.
  • Took the pup to the groomer with Kid1.  Groomer gave up, saying pup was "too nervous."  Charged our electric dog nail grinder so we can figure this out on our own.  😕
  • Took the kids to get their iphone screens replaced.
  • Took the kids to Soma for their first bra fitting and to invest in their first grown-up bras.
  • Took the kids to Old Navy for some more school shopping.  Also to Acme for a couple personal items.
  • Called my folks, chatted, and planned for us to visit them tomorrow.
  • Ate out.
  • Put the kids on pup duty, handled various small tasks, and came upstairs to hide.   😛

To do:

  • Night pup duty.
  • Should force the kids to do math.  (Not sure I'm feeling it, but we're running out of time.)
  • Should I do some laundry?  Not sure I'm feeling that either.
  • Client work??

Printing took much longer than anticipated, I forget how long it takes to print several 113 page sets of stuff. Ha!

So, that said, here's what I got done:
....printed 7 of the Timeline Books, and all 15 sets of figures
....made a Target and a Walmart run for more paper, paperclips, etc.
...took a nap
....went to church
....had dinner
....watched some Olympics, now vegging out

Will resume the printing tomorrow.....still need to hole punch and assemble.

Good evening everyone. I left out this morning pretty early so I didn't post. My day was spent working in my classroom for awhile then working at mother in law's for several hours. Got several bags of trash out of her kitchen-she had been saving empty plastic containers of all sizes and shapes. Got a lot of canned food out of there that she won't eat-she eats mostly fruit, a little beans, a little vegetables. She mostly eats fruit and drinks stuff from the health food store. Many more clean out days will be spent down there.

Good evening! Our great nephew won both of his tournament games. We only stayed for one because they heat was so bad, and we had my MIL with us.

@TheReader, do you print on a laser printer? Have you ever heard of this site? I've had good experiences printing bound books for my co-op classes.   https://www.bestvaluecopy.com/

A load of laundry is in the dryer.

I do print on a laser printer, and it's usually pretty good, but I will look up this site you linked, thanks!

(most of the delay yesterday was in the time running to Target, Walmart, eating lunch, napping, etc.....)
