Teaching3bears Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 My 14- year old son has a somewhat prominent elevation on the top of one foot. The x-ray showed benign bone lesion (fibroxanthoma). I was told that nothing needs to be done about it. It is not hurting my son at all. If you have experience with these things, would you agree that nothing needs to be done? Are there treatments other than surgery? Quote
TravelingChris Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 My dd2 was found to have a bone lesion when they were investigating her knee- it was right above it. I don't remember if it was found on a catscan or MRI. Nothing was done and that was about 13 years ago. 1 Quote
Teaching3bears Posted July 22, 2021 Author Posted July 22, 2021 You can see this easily. It is quite prominent and he is young and the state of people’s feet get worse with age. That is my concern. Quote
