domestic_engineer Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 Is there an easy way to search what books (for the learning to read crowd) are able to utilize the Immersion Reading feature? Any way to do this with the Kindle Unlimited option? Or with the Audible premium plus catalog? Or are there blogs where moms have created lists of books already? (I know I'm asking for a unicorn.) Lecka Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 Not what you asked — but maybe check out Epic reading. Maybe also see what your public library has for immersive reading type stuff. There is some kind of app or program that a lot of libraries have. 1 Quote
Lecka Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 (edited) Iirc the “read to me” on epic highlights sections of text as they are read. It has been a little while. My struggling reader really liked some of the audiobooks available but it was not a learning-to-read solution for him. But he was just not into immersive reading. I can’t compare to Kindle immersive reading. For epic, if you do a trial and wait they will probably offer a discount. Good luck in finding a resource for your first choice 🙂. ChocolateCake Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 I look for specific book titles on Amazon with the words "Kindle whispersync". I don't use this much for my kid still learning to read though (but more for my 12 y/o dyslexic) since our library has read along books on the Overdrive app. 1 Quote
