Have coffee'd, and finished 4 science worksheets, leaving just 2 more to be done with the 1st quarter worksheets. Yay!  Plus due to my earlier mix up I have 2 done for 2nd quarter already (and 1 of the ones I have left for 1st quarter is a topic I cover already, and so I may keep the worksheet/info I have for that one already rather than redo it). 

Answered a few emails/phone calls that came in. 

Cleared all the 2019 emails out. 

DH is fixing lunch for the kids (I had leftover chicken sandwich). 

Next up: nap time

Howdie!

I had to get up early so my kid could go on a 7:30am trail ride.  I made her do the morning pup duty, and I went right back to bed after driving her to the barn.  I didn't wake up until she called at 11:something asking to be picked back up.  Ha!  Guess I needed some sleep.

This week my kids and I have been playing some games after working on math in the evenings.  It's been very nice so far, and I hope it lasts.  It helps motivate them to get the math done, and it's a good thinking exercise itself.  I've been wanting to do this for a long time!

Done:

• Laundry in the wee hours.
• Morning pup duty delegated!  That counts, right?
• Drove kid to & from horse riding.
• Sent out some client work.
• Caught up on emails, news, calendar, social media, and checked some school stuff.
• Various other small tasks.

To do:

• Shower & hair wash.
• More client work.
• Electrician is coming to make some changes with our lighting.
• Kids have sports physicals.
• Kid1 has soccer, but might skip it.
• Walk the dog, do some reading, maybe some exercise ....
• Math with the kids.
• Game with the kids.
• Whatever else gets done.

We left the lake house this morning and went to another waterfall in northeast GA.

We stopped in a cute small town to explore the downtown area. We had iced coffee for a treat. 

We just got to my sister’s and we’re planning dinner out.

Oh no, it's been too peaceful for too long around here.  Must have a dramatic blowup which is caused by my poor parenting.  Silly me for thinking we might have a decent week.

Crazy busy here today.

Done:

Boy to fb camp

Tutor three students

Lunch out with mom and take her to her new place. Unpackers were working fast when I left. Still need to deal with AT&T about the cable box and phone. 

Got gas

Catching my breath at home before Ds gets home. Snacked on pickled onions and cukes - yumm. 

Need to fold laundry and prep for tonight’s meeting.

dh & I played Stardew Valley for a ridiculous amount of time

I finished the whole first quarter of Science K worksheets/info, and 3 of the 2nd quarter ones; that leaves 6 for 2nd quarter and then that will be it (I'll work on 2nd semester ones over the break, so I can revamp things if they aren't working well, etc.) -- I will need to do 1st & 2nd grade ones, but am waiting on the curriculum to come in (Aug 1, hopefully.....)

@SKL, I hope the rest of the week will be smooth! 

Dh left a draw string bag at a coffee shop on our trip here. It’s 2 hours away. I contacted them and they have it for us. It has my reflux and allergy medicine in it. My sister wants to drive me up there to get it tomorrow. She loves to drive as well as a road trip.

Kid2 is in bed, not feeling well.  Hopefully it's over tomorrow.
