Jenny in Florida Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 On Tuesday, I was very sad to discover that it was not yet Thursday -- and now here we are at last. These threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in doing intentional daily movement. Anyone may join in at any time! 2 Quote
Jenny in Florida Posted July 15, 2021 Author Posted July 15, 2021 Sigh. So, I didn't manage to get those steps yesterday. I fell into the homework rabbit hole (making a Powerpoint deck for an in-class presentation I am scheduled to do on Monday) and didn't come up until 1:00am. I like to think that I will make up those 3,000 steps over the next few days, but given that I slept a little late this morning and had to cut my walk short (3.4K) in order to be ready to show up to work 15 minutes late . . . the outlook isn't great. I did manage some leg and arm exercises, but again, less than I aim for on a normal day. Summer Splash Challenge Update: 190.4 of 500K Daily Walking Streak: 138 Days West Orange Trail: 7.75 of 22 miles 1 Quote

Jaybee Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 I did my 3K on the rower this morning. I plan to move up to 4K next week. I'm gradually feeling more myself these days, which never meant I had tons of energy, but I feel like I'm getting back to my normal. And then, hopefully, I'll be building up more strength and energy. 1 Quote
Harriet Vane Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 @Jenny in Florida Sleep is good and needed, too. It’s good you got your work done and especially that you slept. Today is a new day. 1 Quote
Harriet Vane Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 Weights and core today. Already done. I am so thankful for my Tues/Thurs rhythm. 2 Quote

It’s good you got your work done and especially that you slept. Today is a new day. Well, in the interest of full disclosure: I still logged less than 5 hours of sleep and didn't quite finish the assignment. It is a new day, though, and I'm about to use my lunch break to try and knock out the last section of the prep work so I can meet with the rest of my group this evening to make sure we're ready to present. Good news, I guess, is that if the schoolwork is done, I might be able to catch up on some rest this weekend. Thanks for the kind words! 2 Quote
Junie Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 One mile. My foot has been bothering me most of the week, so I've been taking it easy. 1 Quote
