Tackling Wednesday Together

Good morning! 

We are headed this morning to a historic site with a nature trail and a waterfall.

We’ll go to lunch somewhere and see Black Widow this afternoon. 

I’ll do laundry this evening.

We pack and leave tomorrow going to my older sister’s house north of Atlanta. We may see some sites on the way.

Last night at 9:30, Dh told me he had an unmissable meeting today, so I cancelled two students for today so that I can pick up Ds from fb camp. Five minutes ago, he tells me the meeting is tomorrow. Sigh. Can’t switch everything back 30 minutes before I walk out the door.

Today:

• boy to camp  
• shower
• laundry 
• call AT&T ✅ 
• check in on my mom - take lunch
• pick up boy
• tutor one student virtually ✅ 
• figure out dinner ✅

My day today:

....coffee
....work with the little boy
....more K Science worksheet stuff
....grocery shop with DH, maybe??
....dinner: chicken sandwiches (homemade)
....after dinner:  fencing class b/c no youth group this week
....after that......the last Loki???? if everyone is up to it after showers, etc.; may wait till tomorrow on that

Laundry going! Room clean. 
Ran to store because company for lunch and I didn’t plan... 😉 

Company today - will be fun. Old friend from high school. DH is home today and they were close too. 😊 

Oldest is coming over with babies. She has 37 week OB appt. Her kids are my kids favorite humans. 
 

Big storms expected this evening. Pretty chill day.

Home from working with the little boy -- it went so well today! 

Cleared 2018 emails from the inbox. yay! 

Answered some emails. 

Going to call insurance/health care person to figure out why we keep getting a bill that we don't owe. Assuming they will talk to me, b/c it's for my adult son, so.....? But we're the responsible party on the insurance, so maybe....?  Wish me luck. I don't want this to end up a hit on his credit.  (we met the out of pocket for this, before this bill came in, so I know we don't owe it and I had thought we covered that with the provider, but then they apparently sent it to collections, b/c now it's coming in again from a different office/person. So frustrating.)

Then food, then K science stuff.

hmm, BCBS says our out-of-network out of pocket is different than our in-network out-of-pocket, and that's why we owe this one.......

going to have DH check with HR to be sure, or dig up our benefits booklet......I can't imagine how we had an out-of-network provider in the mix but.....???

Howdie!  I was pretty good today (so far), except for that long-ass phone call with my sister.  😛

• Up early for pup duty.
• Took out the garbage.
• Sprayed weed killer.
• A little laundry and dish washing.
• Sent out some client reports and requests.  Also, work inbox is now down to 190 items.
• Kid2 to & from horse riding.
• Kid1 to soccer.
• Various small tasks.
• A little reading.

To do:

• Pick up Kid1, order and pick up pizza.
• Math with the kids.
• Probably more laundry.
• Whatever else gets done.

I have some sinus stuff going on.  I am not sure how much of it is a bug, and how much is the perfume from stuff my kids bought on their shopping spree Monday.

Off to get Kid1 before she nags.

Dinner was all from our CSA. Steaks, grilled veggies, sliced tomatoes, watermelon. 

Laundry is working.

Took a walk with Dh. Now I really need a shower. Very humid tonight.

Ugh, @ScoutTN, that humidity is horrid, isn't it? Same here. 

We had fencing and it was so fun. We all loved the Weds night class better than the Mon or Thurs ones, but of course normally that's church night for DS, so....waaah! 

BUT, they switched us over to other weapons (they start everyone on foil, because the rules convert best) -- DH, oldest, and I all did epee' tonight, and youngest & middle did saber. Everyone liked/loved their new weapon, so that was a hit.  And saber reengaged the younger 2 boys so that's good; they were both getting kinda meh about going. 

Also did get to watch Loki, with mixed reactions.
