I had a good morning, movement-wise. Walked 4.1K and then did a really solid set of leg and arm exercises.

It's a busy day, trying to push through a good chunk of a big project at work and also a midterm this afternoon. So, we'll see what I can manage for movement the rest of the day.

Summer Splash Challenge Update: 171.9 of 500K
Daily Walking Streak: 135 Days
West Orange Trail: 7.75 of 22 miles

I woke up way too early this morning (anxiety I guess/too much on my mind). Not what I hoped, but it did help me get my movement in (cardio exercise bike, arms/back strengthening routines).

@Harriet Vane - Sleep is wonderful! Glad you got some and that you enjoy kicking off the week feeling more rested.

@sbgrace - I did the wake-up-too-early thing today, too. I actually reset my alarm for a little later, but then had to get up to use the bathroom and decided I might as well keep moving. It made for a less rushed pre-work routine, but I'm starting to feel it now. Hope your anxiety eases!

Progress is progress. As I recall, you're trying to work up from 2.5 to 5K? If that's correct, adding .5K today is 20% of your goal.

Yes. I'd been doing 5K for weeks when I got sick with this respiratory virus thing. I think that is why it feels so slow to me.

Speaking as a person who has had to "start over" with her exercise routine a few times in the last couple of years, I can say it's do-able. I'm not sure I agree that 20% of the way towards your goal is "slow," although I understand it can feel that way, but at that rate you'll be back to 5K within a few weeks.
