Jenny in Florida
And the wheel of the week turns around again to Friday. Yay! These threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in doing intentional daily movement. Anyone may join in at any time! Jenny in Florida
I woke up early -- well before my alarm -- but still got out of bed later than would have been ideal. However, I rallied and logged a respectable 3.8K, then did a solid set of leg and arm exercises. Hoping to do better today about getting my steps and avoid walking in circles before bedtime to eek out my minimum goal. I also still need to get on the stationary bike at least once more to meet my goal for the week, especially since the weather has kept us away from the swimming pool. I'm planning -- assuming the weather cooperates -- on doing my second 5K of the runDisney summer series tomorrow, which means making more progress towards my West Orange Trail goal, too. I have quite a bit of studying and homework to do this weekend (midterm on Monday and class project coming up in a little over a week), but I'd like to make it to the pool and/or get in a good ride at least one day. Anybody else have fun movement plans for the weekend? Jaybee
I got in my 2.5K. I plan to move to 3K next week. 2.5 is even less than I started out with in the beginning. 😑 It's okay, though, at least I have started back.

I've had several bumps in the road over the last few years after which I have had to essentially start over, fitness-wise. And I've had to come to terms with the fact that I may never regain some things. It's hard, but worth it, to keep going. sbgrace
It's great you've started back, Jaybee! ----- No fun weekend movement plans--I am hoping to get decent sleep this weekend. I have time to do that finally. I hope my body cooperates. ---- I got 30 minutes on my exercise bike late tonight.
