Janeway
A few months ago, I was on my phone while at my parents house. I went to a website and found I was already signed in...to my sister's account. I showed my sister, who was there at the time. She was bothered and grabbed my phone and quickly signed out. I tried to internet search to find out what that happened but came up with nothing. Now it has happened again. This time, I went to something on Google and found I was signed in to what turned out to be my 17 yr old son's account. He does not really want me to know he has that account. I am also signed in to his stuff that has pictures and a bunch of other things...all Google stuff. I have no idea why. Can anyone explain this at all? These are not accounts I even knew about or was ever signed in to. Only thing in common I can think is we likely were using the same Wifi. None of us were using the same Apple ID.
MercyA
This just happened to me tonight at my in-laws house. I opened my laptop and (even before I was officially logged into the WiFi) a reminder popped up telling me to call SIL back. SIL hadn't called me, but my MIL or FIL. So weird and more than slightly disturbing.
melmichigan
Have you checked the settings for the apple remote desktop? Edited July 6, 2021 by melmichigan
easypeasy
Oh, wow. I haven't heard of this happening - but it is certainly not okay!! 😶 If you ever figure out the problem and solution, please post it here for posterity's sake in case it ever happens to others! Quill
This happens to me with my son, but we still have the same Apple ID. I hate it because pictures will sync onto my phone that are not mine and that I might not want to see. (Im not talking about illegal things, just college-kid pictures I dont want to see.) I also get a relic on my phone of FaceTimes he’s had, even though I was not on the call. I dont think this can be entirely fixed until he gets his own totally different phone on his own account. TexasProud
My iphone randomly Facetimed someone yesterday. I was reading emails. I have no clue. This is a friend I never call, much less Facetime. So strange.
DawnM
Weird. We have 3 iPhones and 2 apple computers in this house and that has never happened.
whitestavern
We were watching a program on our Amazon Fire Stick in CT yesterday when all of a sudden it switched to Spotify music. It was D's type music, so I texted her, and sure enough she was listening to that song on Spotify (via Amazon??). Still can't quite figure out what happened there.
