Jenny in Florida Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 I went poking around the interwebs looking for a Thursday joke, and this is the best I found: If you think Thursdays are depressing, wait two days. Why? Because then it will be Sadder Day. These threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in doing intentional daily movement. Anyone may join in at any time! 1 Quote
Jenny in Florida Posted June 24, 2021 Author Posted June 24, 2021 Still struggling to transition to my earlier wake-up time. At this rate, my seven-week class will be over before I adjust to getting out of bed and at my desk early enough to count towards making up the class time hours. Sigh. With time constraints in mind, I walked just a little over 3.5K and then did about 15 minutes of legs and arms. Every day this week so far I have just squeaked by to log my minimum step count (although, to be fair to myself, I have also made it to the pool to swim some laps and ridden the stationary bike a couple of times). No class today or tomorrow, though, so I'm hopeful I can do a little more. Summer Splash Challenge Update: 66.7 of 500K Daily Walking Streak: 117 Days 2 Quote
itsheresomewhere Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Gym done. I had one too many large dogs who “couldn’t” find their legs on Tuesday and my back was stiff yesterday. So I took the day off from the gym to stretch. Now I think I might want to add more core exercises next month. 1 Quote
Harriet Vane Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Went to the gym today and did a light workout. Lots of the usual things, but done on a bosu so that I had to concentrate on stabilization. 1 Quote
