And we roll around to another Monday. Hope everyone is off to a good start this week.

These threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in doing intentional daily movement. Anyone may join in at any time!

I'm feeling very sluggish this morning. I was supposed to wake up early so I walk and exercise and be ready for work early. I'm starting a class this week that meets two afternoons a week, and I need to figure out how to flex my work schedule around that time. In theory, if I start work an hour early each day and then work late one evening, that will do it, but my body flat out rebelled this morning at the prospect of actually moving that early. 

I did get out for a decent walk (4K) and did a minimal set of leg and arm exercises, but it was a slog all the way through. 

Hoping I perk up a bit as the day progresses and that I find the energy and motivation to do that second walk once work and class are done.

Low expectations may be the theme of the day here, too. 

After a virtual doctor appointment this morning and the three hours of online class and attempting to accomplish any actual work, I should probably call it a win if I get out for an evening walk long enough to log my minimum daily steps.

Doing something every day, the routine, really helps me stay on track. When I skip days, I have to force myself to get started again.

Having mentioned the above, I've been missing parts of my routine this past week on various days.  This weekend was really messed up. I think because of that it was hard to get started today. I did get my exercise bike cardio done, and felt good about it once I started. But I did it too late and ran out of time for my strength focuses today. I'll try to get back into my routine going forward.
