Chicken hotdogs that have a best by date of June 17th?

Then I found 2 other packs of hotdogs that have April and May best by dates, what should I do with those?  Would you feed them to the dogs?

The first one, if they haven't been opened and of course were kept in the fridge, I'd eat with no hesitation. The others... unless they were frozen, I'd probably toss them. I'm not giving hot dogs to my dog, no matter how old they are.

Eh, it's a best-by date, not an expiration date. I figure if it's 'best' in May, it's surely edible in June. If they are typical hot dogs (ie, 90% preservatives) and looked/smelled fine, I would eat them.

I go based on smell. Open packs I would probably toss.  Fully sealed up though?  Hot dogs could still be ok.  I have never regretted my reliance on the sniff test.  I’ve been told that the sniff test is insufficient but I’ve never eaten anything that made me sick at home.  ETA- I would expect that if the older ones are chicken hotdogs too, they are bad by now.  Poultry doesn’t seem to last as long as beef or pork.

I would throw them away. The ones that only expired a few days ago might still be ok, but I don’t eat chicken hotdogs, so I wouldn’t know how to tell whether or not they had gone bad. I know a lot of people on this forum disagree with me about this, but I throw away expired foods.

Food poisoning is terrible. Ask me how I know.

And as @Pawz4me already said, I would never feed my dog anything I wouldn’t eat. Dogs can get incredibly ill from tainted food, and they don’t have to eat very much of it to get really sick.

It’s annoying to have to throw away food, but ask yourself if it’s worth spending $10 or $20 to replace that food so you can avoid getting food poisoning. (Hint: It’s definitely worth throwing away the expired hotdogs and buying new ones. 😉 )
