Word help needed - church architecture

I vote belfry, though I'm not totally sure that's right.

A cupola is round. We call the rowhouses with round dunce caps here cupolas.

A narthex is the little building space underneath the belfry. So the entrance would be the narthex.

Cupolas are functional - they improve ventilation. I think this one is called a bell tower cupola. I found out that the Amish who built my horse barns also build custom cupolas, which sometimes include bells.
