Update--Another episode with dh

One thing I wanted to mention was that if someone passes out it is a good idea to get them lying flat and preferably on their side as quickly as possible. They should recover more quickly if you do. Of course you might not do this if there was any injury sustained at the time ie trauma, but good to do if they just pass out.

We did hear back.  Dr. Chastised him for not seeking ER care and he will see Dh Monday.

I wish he would send your dh for tests tomorrow, so you might have some results to discuss on Monday.

I’m glad you heard back from him, though — I hate waiting for doctors to call me back!

He is fine though.  He has gone 3 then 2 years between episodes.  He is not in immediate danger.  But we do need to get to the bottom of it.

I’m glad the doctor is taking this seriously, and I hope your dh can get the appointments with the specialists very soon so they can figure out what’s wrong and fix it!!!

Me too.  Thanks for the update.

And now two episodes closer together. So glad your dh went in to see the doctor on Monday. Just curious - and my memory fails me - has this always happened around a meal?

Update in first post.

Good that your doctor is taking things seriously. Just based on personal experience, when you make the appointments with the specialists, ask to get on their cancellation list. Often specialist appointments have to be booked far out and we’ve had good results getting in earlier by being flexible enough to take someone else’s cancelled appointment.

3 of the 4 episodes involved a meal.
