Jenny in Florida Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 Friday! Friday! (Not sure why I'm so excited, since I'll be spending my "holiday" weekend doing the last of the clearing and cleaning on the rental house we moved out of a couple of weeks ago, but the principle remains.) These threads are for those who'd like accountability and encouragement in doing intentional daily movement. Anyone may join in at any time!. 1 Quote
Jenny in Florida Posted May 28, 2021 Author Posted May 28, 2021 After finishing off my steps yesterday by walking a steam cleaner back and forth over the carpets of the rental, I woke up sore and tired (more than usual) this morning. I managed to coax the dog into walking a little over 3K with me, though, and then she "helped" me with my leg/arm exercises. (Her version of helping is sitting next to me while I'm on the yoga mat and demanding pets, licking my face whenever she can manage it and sometimes bringing me her toy to throw from my prone position.) KungFuPanda Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 I have Very Good Intentions about attending a virtual class tonight. I consider cleaning my dance room the first part of my workout. This morning, while I was on hold with Johns Hopkins for 20 minutes, I cleaned off my studio floor and got it cameral ready. There may be a few items shoved behind the camera. Fingers crossed that I maintain enough willpower by 7 p.m. to actually attend the class. 4 Quote
sbgrace Posted May 29, 2021 Posted May 29, 2021 (edited) I did exercise bike for cardio, then leg and core strengthening routines. I've got a solid movement routine going, but I'm very ready to start trying to do a little weight bearing cardio stuff again. (Part of my goal with movement is improving my bone health...and a bike isn't great for bone building). My foot with the neuroma has been feeling ok day to day the last couple of days. If that continues, I'll maybe try something cardio "on feet" next week. Edited May 29, 2021 by sbgrace 2 Quote
