Good morning! Happy Monday!

 

My friend decided she DOES want the quilt, simplified, after all (and of the simplified/cheaper options, she picked the most similar/most expensive so....yay?!)  So today I need to finish tweaking the pattern and send her exact fabric requirements so she can fabric shop (she's going to buy fabric, mail to me, then I'll start). 

So, my today:
....coffee
....tweak the quilt stuff
....finish up my quilt stuff A  (add sides to the tree skirt; am about 3/4ths done)
....prep for tomorrow (evaluating/meeting with a mom/student for private tutoring next year)
....figure out dinner 
....after dinner, play Stardew Valley with the boys -- Oldest is off at camp, DH found out we could play this 4 player, and they convinced me to join in; it's weirdly addicting, LOL! 
....anything else I think of

Tweaked the quilt measurements, so I'm ready for her when she gets me the bed measurements. Brilliantly was able to draw the block so that the original cutting/assembly works, and just the edge pieces/borders of the block are wider, keeping all the rest the same. (much easier for me than refiguring the funky assembly stuff). 

Figured out a plan for dinner.

Howdie, happy Monday!

Done:

• Kids off to school on time, yay!
• Reorganized fridge, brought in & put away grocery order, ate some leftovers, washed dishes, took out garbage, random light housework.
• Pup stuff.
• Caught up on calendar, news, emails, social media, and checked the kids' grades.
• A tiny bit of client work.
• Working on coffee 2.

To do:

• Lots of client work.
• More pup stuff.
• Set up some message apps so I can update my calendar & do sign-ups for my kids' summer activities.
• Try to get laundry all caught up today??
• Make the kids do their pup duties, homework, and picking up after themselves.  Maybe some TKD practice ....
• Whatever else gets done.

-prepped for tomorrow's meeting, should have all that ready to go

-emailed my grandma and set up a visit for next week

-unloaded the dishwasher

-cooking lunch for DS/ate lunch myself, then heading up to sew

Just got home from school and grocery pick up, so my list will be short and sweet today probably.

Get dinner started-Chicken fajita casserole-done

Laundry

Weed-done

Go through mail and shred-done

Clean the floors

Maybe start painting

Took a nap

Goofed off on the computer

Took DS shoe shopping/swim trunks shopping -- we succeeded, so even though it was pricey, that's a win

Stopped at the grocery store, got the stuff for tonight and tomorrow dinners

Cleaned up cat mess, did that laundry

Rescued a lizard from my cat (did I already say that? I'm very proud of myself for that one, lizards are hard to catch)

Chicken is in the oven, salad for tonight is prepped/waiting for dressing until closer to time to eat

After dinner, we'll probably play StarDew Valley

Home from Scouts.

Cleaned up dinner dishes, got ground beef and hot dogs out to thaw for tomorrow’s dinner. 

Got a snack and made hot tea.

About to settle down with my book.

My puppy ate another sock.  Ugh!  Another trip to the emergency vet.  Up to then, it had been an eerily peaceful day ....

I had put in a load of washing, so I went down to switch it out ... somehow the washer turned itself off or something.  So now here it is 12:30am and I'm just starting the 1st of 2 loads ....  😕
