Good morning!

We have church today and a graduation party for one of my math students afterward.

  • breakfast (taking it to SS, too) and dinner
  • church
  • party
  • start on ds' room with him
  • keep sorting/organizing, and a lot of throwing out or for donating (We are trying to use this as a major purge before moving.)
  • prep stuff for the party tomorrow (get game supplies together and make French toast casserole for overnight)

Howdie!  Happy Sunday!

I'm not feeling great today, but I have a big work deadline tomorrow and I need to get stuff done.

My lazy kids have a lot of homework to do also.

Would love to spend some time with the pup & watch online church.  We'll see.

I promised to read the 2nd half of Glass Menagerie to my kids before they start their English paper.  Wish I'd done it sooner.

Good morning!

We went to church yesterday, so today is my (postponed because of finals and such) "Mother's Day" celebration -- the guys are making raviolis for me, and not sure what else. We'll see what they have up their sleeves.

Besides that, I really want to get all my school stuff unpacked, decluttered, put away. The stuff that was donated to me, the stuff I brought home from school, the stuff I took for Open House that needs to be reshelved......it's a big job, but that's my goal for today/this week. It's a rainy "flash-floody'" kind of week, too, so a good week for it.

Good morning!

We’ve bern to church and I am about to clean up the kitchen.

Kids’ piano recital is this afternoon and I will pick up my mom and bring her.

Dinner is ??

Later: walk, read, lesson prep for tomorrow’s tutoring students. Maybe some prep cooking?

Good afternoon everyone! Had AM church and lunch, now I want to take a nap. I didn't sleep well last night. Today's plans include:

Cook and make salads

Maybe work in the flower garden

Clean the floors

PM church

Stop at dollar store and grocery store on the way home from church

Finish going through a pile of papers

@SKL, I hope you feel better soon.

@TheReader, have fun with your belated celebration.

@math teacher, enjoy the nap.

Checked on Daddy and he feels a bit better

Went through some boxes of pictures and pulled out some favorites of ds

I need to go through the digital pictures that I seemed to just quit printing once I was on Facebook. I guess because family could see them that way.

Took a nap

DH and kids convinced me to spend my "mother's day" doing fun stuff, not working, so I'm playing around with a quilt idea for dh & I, rather than cleaning up my room/school stuff.....

I've been to church, had a nap, and washed some pots and pans. I've got a batch of cookie dough setting in the fridge. I'm hoping it will turn out (new recipe) and I can then bake the rest of the needed cookies (aiming for 150ish). I am also hoping to sew masks. It's killing me to be two weeks from the wedding and these two tasks not complete. Merely almost complete. I have to email dsil the ingredients to post on their website for those with allergy concerns and edit a resume. So much to do on a "lazy" Sunday.

Piano recital was nice. Wide age range of performers and wide array of music choices among the 12 and over crew.

Dd is craving hot dogs, so we’ll build a fire in the firepit and cook hot dogs/sauages and s’mores for dessert.

A busy day, but a nice one so far.

No housework got done yesterday and my house is messy as well as not clean. Sigh.

I got done with the quilt design (ish) and bored, so tidied the bedroom mess after all. Feels so much better! It's not *organized* but all the stuff I'd accumulated and pulled off of shelves, is back on shelves, and all the excess boxes, bags, etc. put away where they belong.

DH is finishing up the raviolis so we can eat dinner.
