For anyone who finds tofu boring

This was a real hit last night.  I didn't bake it for as long as specified, because I prefer tofu soft rather than crispy, but the flavours were really good.  Oh, I used oregano because I don't keep dried basil:

Thank you.  I definitely don't think tofu is boring (soooo much to do with it!), but its always nice to have another recipe 🙂

I don't either. I've never heard good things about dried basil, so I'm always surprised when recipes call for it. Maybe I'll try drying my own this year and see if it is worth it.

These look very promising (and easier than many other I've seen that promise crispy results but require copious draining and cornstarch dredging and etc...)

I don't press tofu,  because there's a brand here - Cauldron - which doesn't seem to need it.
