stephanier.1765 Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 In particular, I need the Tropic Sweet apple tree. There aren't many varieties that grow in North Florida and my father already has the only other two that do grow here. So I'm on the hunt for this tree as his Father's Day present. There are so many places online that I'm worried I won't choose a reputable one. Thanks! Quote
prairiewindmomma Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 I would call around to local nurseries. You're going to do best with one that has already been conditioned to your growing clime. Look for family owned local ones, they will be most likely to stock varieties that are hyper local like that. 1 Quote
purpleowl Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 (edited) Just Fruits and Exotics, near Tallahassee. Great reputation (I've purchased from them before myself, but it was years ago, but I have friends who've purchased from them recently), and their website says they have that kind. I just ordered one. Now I'm super excited for Father's Day to get here. Yay! 3 Quote
