Help with GoTalk device

I got a GoTalk 20 plus for my special needs kids.  It can take 25 little words/pictures on a page.  I know which words I want.  Is there anywhere I can create the right sized grid and put pictures and words from the internet without having to physically cut and glue each picture separately?  The company has software to download but it is $100.  Is there anything online that is free and easy?

Are you talking about PECS cards?

Nearly everyone I know uses Boardmaker for pecs cards. We did when we set dd up with assistive communication.

Thanks,  I need to make 1 sheet with 5x5=25 grid of pictures/words that I want to choose.  Can boardmaker do that?  Is it free?

Terabith is right, this is kinda my thing, although midtech like a Gotalk isn’t my favorite thing.

Before I make suggestions can I ask her you plan to put on the grid?  Written words?  A certain kind of symbol (e.g Boardmaker, symbolstix, etc .  . .). Picture that you find on your own?  Your answer will change my suggestion.

I have already chosen all the words.  They include things like tired, water, paint, music, cold and eosophagus. Words and pictures, if possible.  I am not too picky about the picture .  I just want to be able to find them easily, put them into the grid that is the right size for the machine, print it and slip it into the machine.  I  don’t want to pay for this or I will just draw the pictures myself.

OK, that's easy then.  There is a Go-talk 20+ template available to Teachers Pay Teachers for free.  It's got words on it, core words which would be a good approach, but it would be easy to switch.

I don't know how your tech skills are.  If you wanted to message me a list of words and an email, I could send you a blank one and one with the words you want and pictures.  Or I could just send you the TPT link if you wanted to do that.
