Figured a poll would give a better numbers view of the info in the other post.

Please answer only for YOURSELF. And only for Astra Zeneca vaccine. I'll make another poll for the other vaccines as I have time.

It only gives you so many options to use, so if you had a side effect not listed, you can include it in your response.

I think the AZ vaccine is not authorized for use in US. For my country of origin, there has been cases of blood clots/strokes soon after vaccination. My brother who has PEG allergy would be able to have that vaccine so I am following the news.

The US will share up to 60 million doses of its AstraZeneca vaccine with other countries as they become available, the White House has said.

The doses will be able to be exported in the coming months after a federal safety review.

The US has a stockpile of the vaccine even though its regulators have not yet authorised it for public use.

The FDA has so far authorised three vaccines against Covid- 19 - Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen). Experts say it looks likely that these will provide all the country's needs and the AstraZeneca jab may not be needed.“

Yes, but I think we have people on this board who have had it, in the UK I think.

DH had his first dose last week.  12 hours later had headache, chills, nausea, fatigue, and low-grade fever.  Bad enough to interfere with sleep.  He felt mostly better by morning, and completely back to normal the next day - about 24 hours of symptoms.

(He can't fill out your poll, because he's only had his first dose.  Next his dose isn't until four months after the first.)

I've had my first. My arm was sore and the soreness spread to my shoulder blade. It wasn't bad and it went away in five days. On day two I was really tired and a bit shivery. I  went to bed early and felt fine the next day. My energy was a bit low for five days.

My second jab is due in June, so I can't fill in the poll.

I am not participating in the Poll because I have not had the AstraZeneca vaccine (it is one of 5 vaccines Colombia has purchased). Add to the list of troubles AstraZeneca has had during the past 14 months this news story from India.  The factory there will not be exporting AstraZeneca to Covax, at least temporarily, because of the catastrophic situation in India.
