BeachGal Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Getting ready to hit the road in a few months. We are planning a trip from Illinois out to Montana where I grew up and most of my relatives live. Anyhoo, because we will be driving and it's a looooong drive, we will be stopping along the way to camp and see the sites. RoadTrippers looks good. Have any of you used it and found it helpful? It's only $30 but if it's not that great then I don't want to bother with it. I have TripAdvisor, too, but RoadTripper lists a lot of things to see and do along the routes. Also, I seem to recall an app that tells you where to find good bathrooms along the way. LOL It's a long trip so might as well hit the good spots! 😄 TIA! 1 Quote
Pawz4me Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 I don't know anything about RoadTrippers, but if you're on interstates iExit is a good app. It lets you know what's available--restaurants, gas stations, big box stores, hotels, hospitals, veterinarians, etc.--at the upcoming exits. On a cross country trip (NC to CA and back, so truly cross country) a couple of years ago we used it a lot. We found a few glitches but nothing huge. 1 Quote
