Howdie!  I have lots to do today, and I'm getting a late start thanks to sleeping in.

I bought an outdoor kennel and doghouse for the pup, and today we had a guy come and assemble it for us.  I got up intending to go look out the window and admire it after a bathroom stop.  But before I could do that, I started hearing about how the kennel (chain link fencing) is the wrong color and we need to replace it.  (Note, I bought this one because it was precisely what that person picked out.)  After some discussions, it's all fine, but that was not a pleasant way to start the day.  😕  Am I the only person who gets annoyed by people who can never just decide and be done reassessing?  Even something minor that I chose and accepted.  "Are you sure that's really what you want to eat?  Do you want this other thing instead?  I could trade with you.  Should we buy the other brand after all?  Why did you put it along this wall instead of that wall?  I wish it was brown instead of black...."

Done:

  • Woke up, yay!  Working on coffee 2 I think.
  • Final arrangements re pup's new kennel.
  • Gave kids a deadline to come to me and discuss the status of all their schoolwork.
  • A little housework.
  • Caught up on calendar, emails, news, social media, and checked / downloaded the kids' grades.

To do:

  • Lots of client work.
  • Lots of laundry.
  • Read and file all the paperwork I got from yesterday's errands.
  • Get up to date on kids' school work status & action plans.
  • Church with kids.
  • Clean the house - maids coming tomorrow.
  • Pup duties.
  • Exercise.
  • Whatever else gets done.

Back from a rainy, muddy AHG campout. The girls had fun and earned badges. Adults worked hard and enjoyed good fellowship. Dd worked hard too, teaching a badge! About 2/3 of the cleaning up and putting away is done. Lovely to be clean!

Baked a Costco m&c.

At a friend’s house while Dd works on a sewing project.

Later:

Dinner - leftovers

Read and go to bed early!!l

Went over each of the kids' Q4 school work.  Both have a list of things to work on.  I am checking back in with them at 9pm and 9:30pm.

Walked all the way down the street looking for a ball that rolled away.  It was at the far intersection.  😛  I did say we live on top of a hill.  So I got a little exercise, for which I am grateful.  I hope to still walk the dog tonight.

Went through all the paperwork related to yesterday's errands - vet stuff, puppy training stuff, Covid test stuff.  Filed / discarded as appropriate.

Placed an order for 6 months of worm, flea, and tick prevention chewables.

Took a call from the state health department about my kid's Covid contact.  Agreed to provide follow-up info daily.

Did a very tiny amount of client work so far.
