frogger Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 I have a feeling that Mr. D is more middle of the road with math workload and difficulty. If you were to rate this on a scale with MUS being 1 and Forester being a 10 (I just know these two programs very well, not saying it is the hardest ever or MUS the absolute easiest) where would you put Mr. D's class? frogger Posted April 24, 2021 Author Posted April 24, 2021 Or if you haven't used those programs any general idea would be great. I feel like the search engine isn't giving me much. Quote
Eos Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 (edited) My older three didn't use anything online to compare to, but it's not very rigorous. We love it because Mr. H has kindled a love and appreciation for math in my previously math-hating dd, which is all that matters to me for this one. Workload is minimal with the year-long class, I would guess the faster paced classes have more. The platform is very easy to use, and she gets positive reinforcement by seeing all the assignments and grades laid out. She'll do pre-calc there next year and AP calc somewhere else senior year, and will probably never do another math class! Edited April 24, 2021 by Harpymom 1 Quote
Miss Tick Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 My dd is a fan of Mr H also. Geometry is not taking her 5 hours a week, though. She thinks between 3 and 4 hours. She has been spending the balance of her math time working on Algebra 2 asynchronously with a different provider (at her request). 1 Quote
