Jenny in Florida Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 I have a history of reacting badly to insect bites, so I didn't think much about this until a couple of weeks ago, when I noticed that this doesn't seem to be going away. It's a very small, not even visible to the naked eye bump on my right calf. If I run my finger over the area, I can kind of feel a small, harder lump underneath the skin, but that is the only indication that anything is there . . . except for the itchy skin. It's not terrible (although, because of the neuropathy, I'm often not as aware of bites and things as I would have been a few years ago). The skin on my legs is sometimes on the dryish side, but not bad. And the itching really is focused on that one point on that one leg. Any thoughts? Quote

I’d play it safe and go to a doctor. It could be anything from a nerve to a fungus to a bug to an irritated yellow fly bite or skin cancer. 1 Quote
JFSinIL Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Have a dermatologist check it out. Possibly a small skin cancer ...let a professional check it out just to be on the safe side. Quote
