Good morning! 

I realize that I started a thread yesterday morning and never hit submit topic. Sorry about that! 

Dh is off to work, and the bible study groups are done. 

  • breakfast and lunch (dh and ds are getting dinner out)
  • teach 4 Zoom classes   (last week for one of them)
  • ds' school (I decided to give him one list of everything that has to be done to graduate rather than do the weekly thing.)
  • prep for tutoring tomorrow
  • go to a mom's meeting at a coffee shop and possibly stay afterwards to talk to a mom interested in starting a co-op

Good morning! Crazy busy week here. 

Ds to school ✔️ 

Medical appt for me ✔️ 

Tutor 4 kids. A last minute cancellation due to a stomach bug will free up some time for AHG work I need to do. ✔️ 

Log sessions ✔️ 

Walk!

Dinner is chx nachos for kids, taco salad for me and dh. ✔️ 

Delete You Tube from our firestick and see what else the parental controls will do. ✔️

Howdy, happy Monday!

I was super lazy yesterday.  I slept for much of the afternoon.  Then I couldn't sleep overnight until it was almost time to wake up.  Should have just pulled an all-nighter.  Oh well.

This morning I said to myself:  my house is a mess, my work is a mess, my kids are a mess, my body is a mess, and my dog is a mess.  No wonder with the lack of organization.  I need to be better!  How to prioritize though ....

I am feeling ambitious for today though, so let's see ....

Done:

  • Laundry in the wee hours (just 1 load).
  • Slept poorly but I tried.
  • Pup duty from 6am.
  • Kids ready and off to school, just on time, yay?  Took a lot of sass. 😕
  • Plunged the kids' toilet, a little house cleaning.
  • Got a little client work done.
  • Caught up on emails, news, calendar, social media, and checked the kids' grades.
  • Working on coffee 2.

To do:

  • More coffee.
  • More fruits and veggies than usual.
  • Lots more client work.
  • Pup duty until at least 1pm, then again after dinner.
  • Yoga, TKD practice, walking.
  • A little reading.
  • Should probably do 2-3 loads of laundry and some more house cleaning (though I want to leave it for my kids, kuz it's their mess).
  • Call re kid and dog appointments.
  • Various kid driving.
  • Make the kids get caught up on their homework, test corrections, and at least a little cleaning.
  • Some personal organizing and bill paying.
  • Whatever else gets done.

Two Zoom classes are over. 

I forgot to add a few things:

  • go with ds to open checking account
  • drop off graduation announcements at post office 
  • prep for book club this Thursday

Teach DD12 how to ^^see above^^ as I also own a level for her.

BE QUIET - DD17's laptop broke, so she's upstairs for a quiz and class today.  Reminder: Call Costco.  See if it's covered.

Try to figure out how to save plants.  Moan and whine occasionally.

@SKL, I get the lack of organization affecting so many areas. I have a few spots in my house that I'm avoiding cleaning out because I just don't want to tackle the level of organization that it will take (our garage, our bonus room, our closet). 

I've let myself go over the last several months. I gained back weight I lost last year, so I'm trying to use ds' graduation party as a motivator. It's 5 weeks away, and I'd love to lose 15 pounds. If I could lose 5 more, I'd be even happier.

@SKL, I hope all is well! 

We got ds' account opened and dropped off the cards at the post office. We dropped a few books by the library, too. 

Made myself a protein shake for lunch and skipped breakfast today. I've been eating way too much all day long, so I'm hoping some intermittent fasting will jump start me on losing some weight.

Sorry for the weird post above.  I didn't mean to alarm anyone.  It was just that an update post came out in a weird format, and then while I was editing it, I got a phone call that I had to take, so I just said "be back later."  😛  Then I promptly forgot all about it!

So I'm baaaaaack ....

Nothing exciting to report, unfortunately.  I did complete more client work today (so far) than I have in many days, not that that's saying much.  I also completed 2 loads of laundry (washed, dried, folded, and put away).  Made 2 appointments for my pup (training and bathing) and moved his vet appointment.  And cleaned my room, so I feel more human.

Now back to work!!

I updated some homework stuff for my last week student

I still need to prep for tomorrow.

Chatted with Dd. 
Laundry running.

Had some tea and a snack.

Next up: read and go to bed. Tomorrow is an early day bc Dd has to make special food to take for International Day at her tutorial. Some sort of fancy French waffles...

Ran errands, picked up some stuff for AHG, made DD a minute late for work. 🤦🏼‍♀️ 

We managed to do some school, Madeline couple phone calls about furnace and A/C rebates, laundry, dishes, but overall, a bumpy Monday. 

Received two skirts I ordered for the wedding. Neither fit - annoyed. DH is annoyed some of my online shopping went awry. I’m annoyed at him that he’s annoyed. I just got done physically prom shopping and wedding dress shopping. This mom isn’t, is NOT, taking the three youngest wedding clothes shopping. Nope. Online it is! Trying again tomorrow.
